Kanji Walker.

Kanji Walker is an experimental location-based AR game that encourages players to explore Japan through language, culture, and discovery. Players capture kanji from real-world locations by solving short puzzles, uncovering local history, and visiting interesting landmarks and neighbourhoods along the way.

Developed by the Nekologic team during the Playcrafting and Niantic Lightship Global Jam, the project explored how augmented reality and geolocation technology could be used to create engaging educational experiences that connect language learning with real-world exploration.
